The company owns sixteen exclusive showrooms under the brand name “Le Studio” in places such as Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Ahmedabad, Indore, Kolkata, Gurgaon, Panchkula, Cochin, Coimbatore, Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi and Hyderabad.
In November 2013, NITCO introduced its Grandeur Collection, which has been designed to help the customer bring home majestic and royal interior themes. This collection also includes exquisite Marble Book Match and Illusion designs. The Grandeur collection consists of wall and floor tiles. All these tiles are HD Digital tiles made with 6 colour prism printing technology. Every design from this collection has a set of base and décor tiles. Besides, floor tiles from this collection are anti-skids, antibacterial and odour free; they provide better hygiene conditions and are available in 600 mm x 600 mm size. Also, these tiles resist stains and dirt and can be cleaned up with a damp mop, a sponge or a common household cleaner. The wall tiles from this collection are available in size 300 x 600 mm.
To gather information about the developments that have taken place at NITCO in the last ten years, the Stone and Tile in India (STI) team recently interviewed NITCO’s CEO Mr. Ashok Goyal. Given below are his answers to the questions that the STI team asked him.

STI: What major changes has your Company witnessed since its inception in 1953?

Ashok Goyal: NITCO has come a long way since its inception. We were the pioneers in moving the latest technology from the industry to the Indian market. In fact, all our state-of-the-art production facilities use the latest and best possible technology to deliver high-quality products. NITCO is known not only for the technical know-how it has, but also for its world-class design aesthetics. It is always known as a style brand. So, when it comes to home fashion, NITCO is undoubtedly the only name that comes to the mind of a majority of customers.

STI: What innovative and quality products have you recently launched?

AG: Recently, we launched our latest offering called Grandeur Collection at Acetech Mumbai. Inspired by rich and royal heritage, every tile from the Grandeur collection has a story to tell – be it of its African, Spanish, Italian or Mediterranean origin or of mesmerising and captivating Marble Book Match and Illusion designs.

The Italian marble is a gorgeous stone. It is known for its beauty. The HD Digital tiles from the Book Matched Marble theme get you the luxury and warmth of natural marble with mirror imaging. The Book Match Marble tiles create beautiful designs and patterns when laid in a sequential arrangement. And that’s not all. The Mural Wall tiles with Mosaico effect are also enthralling; they will leave you spellbound.

STI: How equipped is your manufacturing setup? What changes has your marble processing plant at Silvassa seen since its inception?

AG: All our state-of-the-art production facilities use the latest and best possible technology to deliver quality products to the Indian market. Be it the roto colour printing technique to get random variation effects in tiles or 6 colour prism printing technology – we pioneered them all. We always believe in using the latest possible technology to deliver quality products.

Our state-of-the-art Breton Marble processing plant at Silvassa is one of the very few automated marble processing plants in the world. Our unique Triple Reinforcement technology gives the marble a charmed makeover, shaping it into an exquisite piece of splendour. By using fibre, imported Rock Resin and Epoxy on surfaces and processes like vacuum and UV resin application, we transform crude marble into an irresistibly swanky piece of art. The process not only strengthens but also enhances the natural beauty of the marble.
